How to Calculate CGPA?

First, put your course name in the left column (which is not mandatory), course credit in the middle column, and your grade point in the right column. You can add more subjects by pressing the 'Add Another Subject' button.

If your grading system supports an optional fourth subject (2-point deductive), then put the grade point of that subject in the last field. Then press the 'Calculate CGPA' button and your CGPA will be shown in a moment.

What is CGPA?

CGPA is an important metric because it provides a standardized way of evaluating academic performance across different courses and institutions. It allows students, teachers, and institutions to track academic progress over time and identify areas for improvement. CGPAs can also play a significant role in determining eligibility for certain academic programs or opportunities, such as honors programs, scholarships, and graduate schools.

Furthermore, CGPA can be a factor in future job opportunities, as some employers may request a copy of a job candidate's academic transcript, including their CGPA. A high CGPA can demonstrate to employers that the candidate is a hardworking and disciplined individual with a strong academic foundation.

Overall, CGPA is an essential metric that helps students and institutions monitor academic progress, identify areas for improvement, and determine eligibility for various academic programs and opportunities.
